As part of our Resilient Communities programme, we’re spotlighting our community member, Weirdspace –  a makerspace based in Bradford with a focus on using technology to produce experimental and unconventional projects and art installations.

Co-founders Shi and Kris Daniels were funded through our inaugural Resilient Communities programme to investigate the city’s maker scene and incubate a membership community, based at Impact Hub Bradford.

Believing that the technology industry alienates many minorities and marginalised people, Shi and Kris aim to demystify the complexities and elitism of tech, by sharing experiences and knowledge, and creating an inclusive environment.
