Welcome to OpenHaus, our regular “office hour” event to bring together our team, our members and our followers for a regular informal lunchtime gathering and also to give visitors a tour of our workspaces and meeting spaces.

OpenHaus takes places on the first Friday of every month, between 10am and 12pm – you can drop in at any point during that time.

Throughout 2021, OpenHaus ran on the first Friday of every month as a two-part hybrid event…

10am – 12pm – an “office hour” event for visitors to the hub, who’d like a quick tour and a chance to meet the team and other members, over some complimentary refreshments.

12 – 1pm – a hybrid lunchtime session which takes place online and in-person, where we invite a guest speaker to share their insight and wisdom with guests joining online or in-person at the hub.

The programme of talks included…

During the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns, we hosted a Lockdown Lunch for our members, providing ourselves and our members a lifeline out of isolation. Our members shared their stories and their projects, while we were able to keep everyone updated on the launch of Impact Hub. Every Friday lunchtime, members would drop in and out over the course of an hour.

We had always intended to host a regular and informal public drop-in event at Impact Hub Bradford, though whilst we remained closed during lockdown, gathering regularly online gave us all some sense of togetherness.

A year later, as we emerged from the pandemic – vaccinated and vivacious – we rebooted the Lockdown Lunch as our OpenHaus programme, a public forum for discovering and sharing the perspectives of our friends, members and partners.
