Last month, we were honoured to host the first in-person gathering of The Phoenix Way, a consortium of organisations which will be creating a series of national and regional panels, made of leaders and decision-makers from Black and Minoritised Community-led charities and grassroots groups that are best placed to support their communities to thrive.

The group was comprised of representatives of the Ubele, Imkaan, the Global Fund for Children, the Lancashire BME Network,  South Asian Health Action and several others, some of whom joined online and others in-person at Impact Hub Bradford.

It was a thrill to overhear some of the plans for The Phoenix Way and the group loved the hospitality and inspirational space we made available for them. With many still adjusting to returning to workplaces after COVID-19, we were very pleased to make this experience such a positive for the attendees. Also, we laid on a great lunch from My Lahore, here in Bradford!
