RESTART is a post recovery programme developed in partnership with the Racial Equality Network, based on experiences supporting BAME (Black, Asian & minority ethnic) organisations in the VCSE (Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise) sector and in consultation with a number of partners and organisations.

RESTART will empower and support BAME organisations across the VCSE sector to help safeguard and create new jobs, build resilience, increase organisational capacity and increase the potential for income generation.

A number of Bradford organisations have come together as a consortium to represent the city in the Local Access Programme. Each bring a unique perspective and set of skills to the group, forming a diverse, agile and innovative team representing the city’s brightest communities.

Criteria

For the social enterprise ecosystem and the community and voluntary sectors, we know this will be a vital development.

Who we're supporting

Nuneaton Signs

Provides meaningful employment and training for people with disabilities through the manufacture and sale of signs.

ABC Life Support

Delivers physical and mental health first aid training to companies and individuals, with profits invested in disadvantaged groups.

Morgan Development

Provides training and apprenticeship opportunities for disadvantaged people. They only work with BAME-led supply chains.
